Oudomxay Province

Oudomxay Province consists of seven districts:

• Nam Mor in the Northwest
• La in the Northwest
• Xay in the Northern center
• Beng in the center
• Houn in the Southern center
• Nga in the Southeast
• Pak Beng in the Southwest

Main roads - see map of Lao PDR (880kb) - all go through Oudomxay Town. Southwards a road leads to the port of Pak Beng at the Mekong river, northwards to Phongsaly, Eastwards to Luang Prabang and Westwards to Luang Namtha.
